Gifts from the Hood

Posted on: October 23rd, 2016

The holiday buying season is upon us and there’s no time like the present to think about purchasing items to help support Historic Gold Hill Museum and the Gold Hill Town Meeting.  As you know, from time to time we create lots of items to sell to help fund various elements of our community.

This past summer Historic Gold Hill Museum shared memories of the Bluebirds, the group of ladies from the Chicago area who summered in Gold Hill for over 50 years between 1912 and 1962, and to celebrate that rich history, we created a great Bluebird towel showing the bluebird image that was on the china service that the Bluebird ladies used when entertaining guests at that Bluebird Lodge and the Gold Hill Inn.  These towels were really successful and we’d like to share them with you and we have attached a tag telling the history of the Bluebirds so the history will be explained to the recipient.  Please see the above attachment.  Contact Debra Yeager at 303 449 0454.   They are $10 each.

We have 2017 calendars available as well.   Both of these items are $10 each so them make a terrific gift for the holidays.  BE AWARE:  we only have 75 calendars left so if you want them, now is the time to get them.  Contact Marilyn Soby at 303 444 9249 for calendars.  When they’re gone, they’re gone!
