On Saturday May 10th from 9am-12pm, at the Gilpin Rec center, a workshop on fire mitigation and landscaping will be taking place. It is free to the public, and I encourage you to attend.

It is vital that as firefighters, we have a solid understanding of the concepts that will be discussed during this presentation regarding home ignition zone, and defensible space. I guarantee you will learn new information at this if you choose to attend.
