Dear Unincorporated Boulder County Resident,

The purpose of this email is to ascertain what needs unincorporated Boulder County private property owners may still have with flood debris cleanup and removal.  This information will be used to help guide the next stage in the Flood Debris Cleanup (FDC) project which is expected to begin sometime in the spring of 2015. Disposal costs associated with FDC debris removal are covered by the FDC program and are not charged to the property owner.

If you, or any unincorporated Boulder County property owner you know, is still in need of flood debris removal of any kind, please email Mark Wesson atmwesson@nullbouldercounty.org ASAP with a brief description of the type of debris, a best estimate of volume (i.e. 100 cubic yards), and whether or not heavy machinery will be necessary.  FDC supervisors retain the right to determine if debris exceeds program capabilities.

Finally, it is important to note that property owners who have received direct financial assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) specifically fordebris removal, are not eligible for the FDC program.  All other unincorporated Boulder County residential and commercial properties with remaining debris will be invited to apply as the program resumes in the spring of 2015.

We wish you all the best in your continued recovery and a happy and healthy holiday season.

Sincerely,

Mark Wesson
