Dec 9 Meeting to discuss Implementation of Fourmile Cr. Watershed Master Plan

Posted on: December 2nd, 2014

Dear Community Member,

As the Fourmile Creek Watershed Master Plan nears completion, it is time to begin discussing post-master plan coordination and project implementation. The master plan will identify the recovery projects that need to be completed, but it will be up to the community to implement the projects. Projects recommended in the master plan can be completed by individual property owners, groups of neighbors, non-governmental organizations, agencies, or as cooperative efforts.

The long-term success of creek recovery depends on ongoing involvement from local agencies, landowners, and other stakeholders.

Please join us for a Fourmile Creek Landowner and Stakeholder Meeting on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, to discuss ideas on how to move forward once the Fourmile Creek master plan in completed.

  • When: Tuesday, December 9, 2014- 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Where: Alfalfa’s Community Room, 1651 Broadway, Boulder, CO. The community room has a separate entrance to the right of the Alfalfa’s parking lot entrance. Please park in the city lot across the street or at the library.

If you would like to continue your involvement in the recovery and restoration of Fourmile Creek, and implementation of master plan projects, please join us!
