I’m baking and taking a donation over to Jamestown town hall next Tues. or Wed. morning to be added to what they ship to the guys in Afghanistan who came and helped us with the flood efforts.  If you’d like to deliver some thing to me, I’m happy to take it.

In addition to baked care packages they need personal items:  see below

Who does this benefit?: Lieutenant Colonel Mitchell Utterback
and his troops in Afghanistan
Who can participate?: Anyone!
When? By Wednesday, December 17th.  I'm going over Tues. or Wed.
Where? Town Hall - Look for a box labeled "National Guard Care
Package"
What sort of items for donation?: 

* Liquid soap/body wash - water is hard to work with there, so
this helps with showering
* Basic hygiene items - deodorant, shampoo, tooth brushes, tooth
paste, floss, hand sanitizer, WET WIPES, foot powder, bug spray,
sun screen)
* Comfort items - Instant coffee, ground coffee, boot socks,
sweets, baked goods, DVD's, books, magazines, Letters or Cards,
Kid's drawings
