Gold Hill Club news

November 22nd, 2015
The link works now and we can vote for the Gold Hill Museum’s Bluebird collection! ┬áThe following is from Rick Siner:
At our recent Gold Hill Club meeting on Thursday, I mentioned that our Museum was in the running for one of Colorado’s ten best artifacts. So, if all of you could go to the following website & vote for us that would be great.
collectioncare.auraria.edu

Go to “vote for Colorado’s 2015 most significant artifacts” and click on the link & then scroll down to get your voting ballot. We find out sometime in December if Gold Hill will be in the top ten. I’ll let you know.

Happy Thanksgiving,

The mission of the Gold Hill Club is to preserve the historical record of the community and surrounding mining area by promoting member interest and participation. The Club was founded in 1923 by a group of women interested in upkeep of the cemetery and the preservation of Gold Hill history and traditions.

It has been meeting every year since. The Club meets monthly September through May.
